Spec Ops: The Line, released on the 28th June 2012 (for PC), developed by Yager and published by 2K games, was in its own way a gem that went unnoticed by many amidst the huge range of titles released throughout the year. Only very recently, Spec Ops was released for Mac Operating Systems (OSs), so in honour of this release GON proudly presents our flashback review for this game! For this review I plan to talk about what Specs Ops: The Line is, look back at why this game was largely unnoticed over the previous year and also explain why I think this game has possibly the best story in a First Person Shooter (FPS) game ever!

New report from French newspaper reveals supposed production budget for upcoming PlayStation 3-exclusive game.

According to a new report from French newspaper was #8364;20 million (£16.8 million/$27 million).

It is not clear if this budget, covered by publisher Sony, includes marketing costs. A Sony representative was not immediately available to comment.

Beyond: Two Souls features Hollywood talent in the form of Oscar-nominated actress Ellen Page (Inception, Juno), as well as Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man, The Boondock Saints) and Kadeem Hardison (A Different World).

The game's soundtrack was produced by Hans Zimmer, a prolific composer whose credits include The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean, among others.

The $27 million reported budget for Beyond: Two Souls is in the same ballpark as Quantic Dream's last effort, , de Fondaumiere said, making it "very profitable."
